Ground Beef and Rice Skillet Dinner Recipe😍


1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 cup long-grain white rice
2 cups beef broth
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup frozen peas
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
Stir in the white rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes (with their juice), dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the peas are heated through.
Remove from heat and let the skillet rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
